Philippe Starck

Born in Paris in 1949, he is one of the most creative designers of our time. Both an Architect and Designer, his projects have received many awards including an Honour Award from the American Institute of Architects. He has been working with Alessi since 1986, and is most famous for his Juicy Salif citrus juicer.


Richard Sapper

Born in Munich in 1932, his prime interests include the design of technically complex objects. He joined Alessi in 1977, with his most recent project being the Todo Cheese Grater, which he created in 2004.
